The RoboNexus Accelerator
RoboNexus was unveiled at RoboSG! 2025, Singapore’s largest showcase for robotics. This accelerator is designed to support the country’s most promising robotics companies, offering them hands-on mentorship and specialized business guidance. By bringing together experts from both public and private sectors, RoboNexus helps young companies transform new ideas into real-world solutions that can have an impact far beyond Singapore’s borders.
The current pilot group of RoboNexus features six standout companies, each bringing new energy and creativity to Singapore’s robotics landscape: LionsBot, Globotix, Spinoff Robotics, dConstruct Robotics, KABAM Robotics, and XSQUARE Technologies. These startups have already gained access to better resources for product development and have formed important partnerships with industry leaders, thanks to the accelerator’s support. Their progress is a glimpse of the potential RoboNexus offers to future participants.
Singapore’s Robotics Ecosystem
Singapore stands out as a global leader in robotics. In 2023, the country ranked second in the world for robot density, with 770 robots for every 10,000 workers. This marks a dramatic increase in just a few years—up from 488 robots per 10,000 workers in 2016. This growth highlights Singapore’s determination to use technology to advance industries such as manufacturing, aviation, maritime, and more.
The National Robotics Programme serves as a driving force in this journey. As of April 2024, the NRP has received $60 million in funding, underlining Singapore’s determination to stay ahead in research and technological development. This commitment was also on display at RoboSG! 2025, where more than 75 innovative robots were showcased.
